FACEPAINT recently donated $1000 to ROKO Cancer, an NGO based in India and the UK, for the first (of hopefully many!) screening “camps” in poor areas of India. These camps have 2 main goals: 1) Screen as many people as possible, who would otherwise likely have been missed, for various common cancers and 2) to gather data that can be published and subsequently lead to funding for mass cancer screening (as well as the important contribution to medical research in general).
